Zoo Blooms

We were able to go to the zoo w/ Audrey and Valerie on Monday morning -What a beautiful day! it wore the girls out it just means extra time for Mommy to hang out outside and upload some great pics. of the girls on the computer. This year is SO much different w/ them...they were so fun! They held hands and were just so funny. Here area some of my favorite pics. of the day.

Go Reds!

Opening day in Cincinnati is...well..SHOULD be considered a national holiday. Andy was able to take a half day of work b/c of all his recent traveling. We took advantage of the beautiful weather & took Elizabeth to lunch down on New Port on the Levee. We had a great table outside that over looked the river. It was a great ending to a great weekend...even though the Red's lost. I see MANY Daddy / Daughter Red outings in our future.

Happy Easter!!

Easter weekend was very full of fun & family! We had lovely weather which meant that we got to enjoy a lot of time outside which was so nice. It was by far...our best Easter yet!! Elizabeth LOVED her Easter baskets but not so much the guy that delivers. We went to a local egg hunt on Saturday and on Sunday the Ruwe family hosted a hunt on Riverside drive. It was great and I can't wait for more fun times outside.

18 months

Elizabeth is 18 months and I still am amazed everyday by that...Where did the year and a half go??? She is turning into such a ' little girl' and not my baby! She is such a constant joy & continues to bring happiness to us everyday. We are looking forward to Spring & the few warm days we have had we have enjoyed to the fullest! Our babysitter took some time off to have her son & Elizabeth got to enjoy some time w/ her Grandmas & Dadddy on the days I had to work. I know that Daddy really loved their alone time together. Thursday we got to have Audrey for half the day ...that meant fun playmate for Elizabeth and photo opps for ME! We started the day w/ playing beauty parlor and putting both girls in 'piggy tails', Playdough, then the best part of the day was the tea party in the tent! Although, I think the girls LOVED the game where they took the "mommy and daddy" from the doll house and pretended to wave to people in the street. I didn't even make that game they did...they just had the best time waving to doggies and people walking down the snowy street.

We can't wait for spring b/c these girls will be a blast at the park!!!

Our Funny Valentine

Happy Valentine's day! Andy & I decided to skip the babysitter and spend Valentine's day w/ our true love! We are making the best of our long winter days & Elizabeth keeps us laughing & on our toes. Here are some pics. of a winter play date w/ cousin Andrea and out to dinner w/ Mommy & Daddy.

We haven't been posting much because nothing that crazy has been going on. We have been feeling a bit cooped up because of the colder temps. outside. Wednesday mornings have become our library mornings. We usually meet some good friends & have lunch afterwards. It is so nice to get out of the house w/ some good company. Elizabeth loves books....we have been reading every night for about 30min. before going to bed. I think this is helping w/ her RAPIDLY growing vocabulary. Here are some pics. from this weeks 'class'.
