Mommy / Daughter date

Today was a very nice day w/ Elizabeth ....& one of the those days where I relized how blessed I am to be able to work only 2 days a week & spend the other 5 with her! Today, we went to the Butterfly show & it was really neat. I thought she was going to be skittish of the butterflies that were landing on her but she was really cute about it. After that we were able to go sit outside w/ some friends for lunch. Summer is def. in the air and I can't be more thrilled.

Mommy Day!

What a Great day to be celebrated as a Mother...and to celebrate our own mothers. We had a fun packed weekend w/ both of our families -who could ask for anything more? Lizzie & Andy left in the morning to get me goodies & coffee while I got to stay at home ALONE! The rest of the day was spent at the Red's game w/ The Dyas'. After a much neeeded nap (Lizzie.not mommy and daddy), we were able to celebrate a lot of GREAT mother's on the Ruwe side. We got to help Grandma & Grandpa Wagner move in on Saturday - we love moving day!

Thanks again Elizabeth for making me such a happy Mommy...you light up my everyday.

Spring days

Spring has sprung & the fun just continues w/ Elizabeth! Wednesday we had a busy fun day which unfort. did not result in sleeping in this morning. I took her to the zoo by myself (usually we meet friends) & we just had the best time together. It was so nice to just walk around on our own all day. She continues to keep me laughing & wednesday was no exception. I took her to the petting zoo & she LOVED feeding the animals. It was fun when one got a away & the zoo keeper had to chase it-we both thought that funny! After a long nap we went to Daddy's favorite place-Party in the Park. I wasn't sure how she was going to do this year but we brought some toys and she enjoyed looking at the boats.

Looking forward to summer!

Zoo Blooms

We were able to go to the zoo w/ Audrey and Valerie on Monday morning -What a beautiful day! it wore the girls out it just means extra time for Mommy to hang out outside and upload some great pics. of the girls on the computer. This year is SO much different w/ them...they were so fun! They held hands and were just so funny. Here area some of my favorite pics. of the day.

Go Reds!

Opening day in Cincinnati is...well..SHOULD be considered a national holiday. Andy was able to take a half day of work b/c of all his recent traveling. We took advantage of the beautiful weather & took Elizabeth to lunch down on New Port on the Levee. We had a great table outside that over looked the river. It was a great ending to a great weekend...even though the Red's lost. I see MANY Daddy / Daughter Red outings in our future.

Happy Easter!!

Easter weekend was very full of fun & family! We had lovely weather which meant that we got to enjoy a lot of time outside which was so nice. It was by far...our best Easter yet!! Elizabeth LOVED her Easter baskets but not so much the guy that delivers. We went to a local egg hunt on Saturday and on Sunday the Ruwe family hosted a hunt on Riverside drive. It was great and I can't wait for more fun times outside.

18 months

Elizabeth is 18 months and I still am amazed everyday by that...Where did the year and a half go??? She is turning into such a ' little girl' and not my baby! She is such a constant joy & continues to bring happiness to us everyday. We are looking forward to Spring & the few warm days we have had we have enjoyed to the fullest! Our babysitter took some time off to have her son & Elizabeth got to enjoy some time w/ her Grandmas & Dadddy on the days I had to work. I know that Daddy really loved their alone time together.
