We haven't really been posting much .... Our lives have pretty boring lately. Elizabeth is still really enjoying all of her new toys she received for her FIRST birthday..& I am really enjoying the new clothes. We have been going to Storytime at the library on Wednesdays to meet Beth and Gavin and she really loves it..& I love some "mommytime". Elizabeth is still a great eater and just runs and runs all over the house. She has been sleeping about 12 hours over night which as been so nice. Andy & I get to caught up on all the shows / movies we missed over the past year. Fall officially starts tomorrow...and I can't wait. So many good times ahead for us.

My little sweetie turned one Wednesday and it is amazing to us that it is possible. She is such a blessing to us and we continue to have fun w/ her. She def. is a combination of mommy and daddy & keeps us on our toes. Thanks Elizabeth for the best year of our lives...we will continue to celebrate you as long as we live! Getting so big....

I have not been blogging much lately but Elizabeth has been going through so many changes. We are getting ready for the BIG birthday party this weekend to celebrate our little girl (& Miss Audrey) It is amazing that everyday she seems a little bit older...she is developing such a funny little personality & I am having a blast with her during the day. She has been walking everywhere & follows mommy & daddy around like a little puppy. She is not getting formula anymore and eating mostly all real foods. Speaking of 'Real' foods..Mcdonalds does not really classify as a 'real' food nor does it fit in any food group. BUT...that little yellow box is an American symbol for kids and my Lizzie took to it like a pro. Grandma was there to witness it and it was hilarious. I can't blame the girl for getting very excited over the hamburger & fries. The next time I post will be for the bday pics. ....

Thanks Grandma for the great chair...I never have a place to sit b/c the big people don't let me on the couch by myself. I told them I am almost ONE YEAR old and needed my own furniture. I sat in my chair this morning and drank my bottle - It was sooo fun!! Mommy and Daddy kept checking on me but I am a big girl now. Thanks again Grandma! I LOVE IT!

Our little Lizzie girl has been on the move. She started really walking this week & we WERE so excited. She is now into even more! She continues to fall on her tush a lot but she gets better everyday.

Andy took this one EARLY morning before going to work...we were UP for awhile.

For the past week or so Elizabeth has not been sleeping well at night. With her as my first and only child this continues to all be new...I thought the sleepless nights were WAY behind us. I think she is getting more teeth and it is causing her so much pain in the middle of the night. One may think that this would leave her taking long naps in the day - WRONG! It only causes her to be more restless....despite this we still are having fun. ( With the help of coffee) Monday we finally had some summer weather & we made the most of it and went to the pool. It was a nice day for both of us.

Here are some pics of the pool and a typical morning at our house. We now have child proofed the whole house which has NOT made her happy.

I can't believe how fast our first year with Elizabeth has gone...we are having a great time just enjoying our days and evenings. So many changes this year ....all good...along with the new house we just got a new car. ( FINALLY ) We had to say our good byes to Andy's beloved/notorious Taurus. That poor car has been a staple in our lives since we have met and even I was sad to see it go. We have not yet set any vacations plans but we are still hoping to go for a long weekend in September. I would love to play on the beach with our favorite little water baby. She LOVES the pool & we have been going up there a lot. Last night we went up for dinner which was so fun and relaxing. It def. makes her sleepy - which is great for all of us. We are getting close to ONE year with her and it is so exciting! The party is going to be a blast...we are celebrating it with Audrey since they are one day apart!
